SatCom Upgrade is the ideal solution for remote operations, rural services, or long-haul trucking companies that need constant, yet affordable real-time tracking and messaging. An upgrade to the Nextel Phone from Sprint and Air-Trak In-Vehicle platforms, the SatCom Upgrade module combines the security of seamless satellite coverage with the affordability of cellular coverage. Only when cellular coverage is unavailable does the Cloudberry system automatically redirect communications to the satellite network. In this way, all of North America, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Central America is tracked economically.

Nextel Phone or Air-Trak In-Vehicle platforms transmit GPS and other data through satellite and Nextel guaranteed wireless networks to the Air-Trak Data Center, which is then accessed via an Internet-connected PC.
