The Cloudberry GPS location, tracking, and communications system gives managers real-time visibility and control of mobile workers, vehicles, and assets to increase productivity, security, customer service, and profitability. With employees' Nextel® GPS, Java™-enabled phones from Sprint®, Nextel BlackBerry® devices, or Air-Trak In-Vehicle platforms and an Internet-connected PC, you can:
Cloudberry provides a comprehensive set of capabilities for enterprise-level mobile resource management, including:
Multiple platforms and networks. Cloudberry can be deployed on any combination of Nextel® GPS, Java-enabled phones from Sprint, Nextel BlackBerry devices, and rugged, always-on In-Vehicle platforms running over the Nextel guaranteed wireless network. With the SatCom Upgrade module, phone and In-Vehicle platforms blend the affordability of cellular coverage with the security of seamless satellite coverage of North and Central America.
Enterprise scalability. Cloudberry is highly scalable, tracking and managing up to tens of thousands of mobile workers, vehicles, and other assets as easily as it manages a small fleet.
Ease of use. An intuitive user interface makes fleet management a simple process. With a right click, obtain vehicle position, speed, and other attributes. Color codes quickly distinguish loiter, communication, and route status. Convenient panning and zooming functions rapidly navigate broad geographies. Then quickly drill down to street-level maps.
Multiple displays. The Enterprise Display can be employed after software is installed and provides powerful multi-window graphics and dispatch-style message reports. A simplified Web display can be accessed from any Internet browser or Web-enabled phone and is ideal for small fleets or managers who need to check fleet status while away from the office. With Cloudberry's Mobile Assist, managers can use their Web-enabled phone or PDA to check fleet status, monitor unit activity, and locate units with street address information and maps with 11 zoom levels. Cloudberry users, click here to have Mobile Assist login information e-mailed to you.
Comprehensive reports. An extensive set of historical reports summarizes loiter locations and durations, miles traveled, route and speed compliance, timecards, job tasks, message histories, and more. A replay feature enables vehicle positions to be reconstructed over time with DVD-like control.
Versatile communications. Integrated Nextel Two-Way Messaging between the office and workforce enables managers to send orders, instructions, and other information to individuals and groups. With an optional Mobile Data Terminal, PDA, or laptop, drivers can exchange text messages or e-mail with dispatch and approved constituents as well as gain Internet access.
Route compliance tools. Cloudberry is integrated with separately purchased third-party routing and logistics applications, including ArcLogistics™ Route, RouteSmart, and QuickRoutes, to:
Geofencing and telemetry alerting. Cloudberry can automatically generate on-screen and email alerts when an asset enters or exits a restricted area, a vehicle diverts from its designated route, or other user-defined events occur, such as the opening of a door or activation of a pump.
User configurability. To meet unique business needs and cut costs, the user can configure virtually all Cloudberry operational parameters. For example, managers can modify information capture on the fly. Different velocity and loiter thresholds can be set to monitor driver performance.
Accelerated application integration. An XML-based, Web-services API, which is shared at no charge, accelerates the integration of Cloudberry functionality into custom enterprise, e-business, and third-party applications.
Rapid return on investment. Quick installation, a short learning curve, and low monthly per-unit subscriptions deliver dramatic return on investment from day one.
